We treat personal information with care.
This notice explains the basic information KnowArk may collect through this website and how it may be used.
Information you choose to share
When you submit a learning-interest, partnership, volunteer, donor or general inquiry, we may collect your name, contact details, location, organization and the information you include in your message.
How we use it
We use inquiry information to respond, assess the appropriate program or partnership pathway, coordinate services, improve our work and meet nonprofit recordkeeping or legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Student information
Please share only what is necessary in the initial inquiry. Additional student records should be provided only through a process confirmed by KnowArk. Do not send highly sensitive identity documents through the public form.
Website services
Our website provider, security tools, analytics or form-delivery services may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser information or cookies to operate and protect the site.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected and apply reasonable safeguards. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information by contacting info@knowark.org, subject to legal or operational recordkeeping requirements.
Children, guardians and safeguarding
KnowArk does not ask children to submit enrollment inquiries on their own. An adult learner, parent, guardian, authorized caregiver or approved partner-center representative must provide the initial contact. We do not request identity documents, immigration records, asylum or UNHCR case numbers, medical information or school records through public inquiry forms.
If additional information becomes necessary, KnowArk will explain what is needed, why it is needed, who can access it and how it can be shared securely. Access to learner information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate program or operational need.
International access and data rights
Because KnowArk receives inquiries from people and organizations in multiple countries, information may be processed in the United States or by service providers operating in other locations. We use reasonable safeguards, minimize the information collected and retain inquiry information only as long as needed for follow-up, safeguarding, legal or operational purposes. You may contact KnowArk to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
